Art of Our Century gallery is thrilled to announce a group show featuring James Esber, Jane Fine, Tony Geiger, Justin Neely, Kris Rac and Andrew Smenos. The show, A Fine Disregard for Decorum, is curated by John Gagné of Gagné Contemporary.

Facing political, cultural and social distortion from seemingly every direction, a good strong antidote goes a long way.

Several such purifying, edifying antidotes will be on view – from savage political commentary to the rich world of the paranoid to the folly of if-it-wasn’t-so-horrendous-it-would-be-hilarious. With an elevated vigilance and a fine disregard for decorum, the craft, wit and frankly nerve of the artists and their work deliver us closer to hope than to despair.

A Fine Disregard for Decorum, curated by John Gagné of Gagné Contemporary, will be on view from March 11 to April 4, 2021, with socially distanced reception inn Thursday, March 11th from 4-7pm. Art of Our Century is located at 137 West 14th Street, with gallery hours Thursday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm or by appointment.
