Grab a drink, and choose your own adventure at any of the several stations of experts set up around the bar. Each expert has a 10 minute speed-lesson, so you can get the basics ~ or go deep. This week’s adventurous theme is titled, Pregame Your Brain: Are You Smarter Than a 6th Grader?

BioBus ~ Meet the scientists and microscope nerds who run BioBus. Use your powers of observation and reasoning for the game, %&$# Am I Looking For? Peer through a microscope and identify animate and inanimate objects found across our find city! (ouuuu gross!)
DNA Learning Center ~ Be introduced to recombinant DNA techniques used to manufacture human insulin and other biotech products. They say that this bacteria can also be used as paint to creat unique works of Agar Art! (Gotta see this!).

Taste of Science: New York ~ Bringing mind-bending science out of the lab and into bars near you, think about the biology of taste & take a refresher course on gustation. Find out where sweet and salty taste buds are really located on the tongue.
The New York Academy of Sciences ~ Hack Your Health is designed to help kids gain computer science skills while engaging in physical activities and learning about their health. Test your knowledge of computer science, physiology, and how the human body functions as a data generating machine.
