Atlantic Gallery opened its Online Viewing Room to the exhibition, Future (Perfect). In an effort to do their part and help our amazing city get through this tough time, Atlantic Gallery members have decided to donate 20% of all sales to the UNITED WAY NYC: Covid19 Community Response & Recovery Fund.
The present moment is like no other: it is here and now, neither yesterday nor tomorrow. But our ‘now’ is on ‘pause’ due to the global pandemic we are all facing. Future Perfect describes an event that is expected, or planned to happen, before a time of reference in the future, such as, “I will have finished by tomorrow.” We look to tomorrow, to the future, and though we don’t know what that will be, we can only hope it will be better than where we are now.
The artist members of Atlantic Gallery would like to give a special thank you to the thousands of grocery store workers, nurses, doctors, healthcare workers, and other essential workers who are on the front lines every day to make sure communities have the food, supplies and medical care that we need to get through the impact of the #Covid19 outbreak.
