Art in Odd Places(AiOP) 2022: STORY is scheduled for September 23-25, 2022, curated by Atlanta artist Jessica Elaine Blinkhorn for its seventeenth annual public visual and performance art festival featuring 40+ local, national, and international artists’ projects from the Disabled, Incarcerated, Elder, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Allied communities taking place along 14th Street in Manhattan, NY – from Avenue C to the Hudson River.

Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2021: NORMAL, is set to celebrate its 16th festival, Friday through Sunday on May 14-16, along 14th Street from Avenue C to the Hudson River. Curated by artist Furusho von Puttkammer, NORMAL challenges what has been and what never was. Boldly pushing its way through pandemia, where social constructs warp to reveal discriminatory realities, corporations relentlessly claw at tax-payer dollars while citizens are made homeless, and the police continue to brutalize the black community, NORMAL confronts the term with artistic work that redefines the word and the traditional ideas behind it.

Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2019: INVISIBLEin it’s 15th year iteration is scheduled for October 17-20 along 14th Street from Avenue C to the Hudson River.  Curated by longtime AiOP artist provocatrice LuLu LoLo, INVISIBLE is vaporous and propels itself intangibly out into the air celebrating the indomitable spirit of artists who are sixty years old and older—undaunted by the passage of time—supported by their intergenerational collaborators: parent/child; mentor/ protégé; partners; lovers; and others from babies to our oldest artist who is 94 years old.
