This year, thirty teams have entered the Canstruction New York Design/Build Competition. The teams are mentored by design professionals, working with them from 8-12 weeks on designs to create structures that can be built in a single night ~ And working all night, each team creates an architectural masterpiece made of unopened food cans to vie for such titles as ‘Best Original Design’; ‘Best Use of Labels’; ‘Best Meal’; ‘Most Cans’ and more, including the People’s Choice Award where the public chimes in on a favorite.

From April 17 to April 29th, four artists will create large-scale calligraphic paintings on the windows of the Winter Garden, using the poetic theme of love. The exhibition, On Love: The Art of Lines, Shapes & Symbols, will also include dance and music.
