Renowned Belgian Artist Denis Meyers will be presenting his first American exhibition “DENIS MEYERS – NYC 2022” at Galerie l’Atelier. Born in 1979, Denis Meyers is a Belgian urban artist. He studied at the National Superior School of Arts and Visuals of la Cambre, in Brussels, city where he currently lives and works.

Fremin Gallery will open its doors to KAAIEN, the first New York exhibition for Belgium artist Didier Engels. After a career of more than 30 years in the research of textures (20 years as textile stylist and 10 years as interior design architect), Didier Engels has shifted toward photography. As a self-taught Belgian photographer, he started his photographic work ‘Dry Dock’ and ‘Kaaien’ in January, 2015.

The Garment District Alliance (GDA) is inviting New Yorkers and visitors to Midtown Manhattan to experience a series of seven gigantic, origami-inspired sculptures as part of its latest public art exhibit, Hacer: Transformation, created by California artist Hacer.
Celebrated for his bold, origami-inspired, metal sculptures that explore psychologically complex themes, Gerardo Hacer will take over the Broadway Mall on September 14th from 36th to 39th Streets, greeting pedestrians who will walk through the colorful exhibit of two dark turquoise coyotes, two medium turquoise rabbits, a magenta elephant, a yellow dog, and a green bear cub. Fabricated from powder coated steel, the sculptures vary in size; with the largest of the series, Coyote, Stalking, prowling over Midtown Manhattan at 14 feet long.

Fremin Gallery will open its doors to Punctured Ink, a new exhibition featuring works from Reka Nyari. The new series “Punctured Ink” incorporates works from Nyari’s ongoing portrait project titled “Ink Stories”, which was introduced at Nyari’s very first solo gallery exhibit, and consists of large-scale nude photographs that explore the concept of self-identity and female empowerment.
