In anticipation of Phase 2 of the Second Avenue Subway, an MTA community information center with rotating exhibits is open to the public on East 125th Street, steps from the MTA Metro North Station, and halfway between the #2/3 and #4/5/6.

He’s referring, of course, to the release of his seventeenth solo album this Friday, September 7th, in conjunction with a limited-edition Paul McCartney MetroCard ~ only available at the larger vending machines and station booths at Grand Central Terminal.

MTA Arts & Design + Jackie Battenfield = A Beautiful New Installation

The Avenue P on the F Train in Brooklyn can look forward to a new MTA Arts & Design installation coming soon.  The 28 new laminated glass panels, created by artist Jackie Battenfield, will grace the stairways on the ground platform. The first 7 panels are ready for installation now.
