Newly Restored Endale Arch in Prospect Park Now Open to the Public

Prospect Park’s historic Endale Arch has been restored to its original splendor with a $500,000 restoration funded by Tiger Baron Foundation and Council Member Brad Lander’s District 39 Participatory Budgeting.

The restoration of this historic arch, one of the first architectural elements in Prospect Park, reveals hidden details not seen in more than a century. Take a look at some pictures at the ribbon-cutting today.

New Installation at Prospect Park Bandshell by Collaborative Duo, Brooklyn Hi-Art! Machine

A new art installation landed at the Prospect Park Bandshell this month, created by the collaborative duo, Brooklyn Hi-Art! Machine. Titled, Inspired By “What Is Left,” the text-based installation quotes the late poet Lucille Cliftonand offers the Brooklyn community a message of resilience and perseverance.

Restoration of Historic Concert Grove Pavilion in Prospect Park Begins

Through $2 million in funding by former Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and the Brooklyn Delegation of the New York City Council, the Prospect Park Alliance will restore the historic Concert Grove Pavilion, closed to the public in 2014 due to structural damage.
