Newly Restored Endale Arch in Prospect Park Now Open to the Public

Prospect Park’s historic Endale Arch has been restored to its original splendor with a $500,000 restoration funded by Tiger Baron Foundation and Council Member Brad Lander’s District 39 Participatory Budgeting.

The restoration of this historic arch, one of the first architectural elements in Prospect Park, reveals hidden details not seen in more than a century. Take a look at some pictures at the ribbon-cutting today.

A new art installation landed at the Prospect Park Bandshell this month, created by the collaborative duo, Brooklyn Hi-Art! Machine. Titled, Inspired By “What Is Left,” the text-based installation quotes the late poet Lucille Cliftonand offers the Brooklyn community a message of resilience and perseverance.

Ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Concert Grove Pavilion inside the Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, Prospect Park Alliance President Sue Donoghue, Council Member Brad Lander, Council Member Dr. Mathieu Eugene, and Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Martin Maher gathered to cut the ribbon on the Concert Grove Pavilion in Prospect Park.
