As an ‘end-of-summer celebration’, Jadda Cat and Michael Alan Alien will come together for a wild, body morphing, transformational performance on Saturday, August 28th on the Christopher Street Pier. The live, two-hour, Hudson River Park performance, which can also be viewed online, will take place from 6-8pm.
Watch as they transform into otherworldly, unreal, living human sculptures. They will pull out all the stops, using handcrafted art props, found objects, puppetry, and a custom-made sonic creation by their band Michael Alan Alien (on Bandcamp) with songs with the late Tommy Ramone, Tim Love Lee, The Residents, Jello Biafra, Arron Dilloway, MF GRIMM, and Mike’s parents.
If it rains, the performance will take place at the end of the Pier under the tent. What a cool Plein Air event ~ bring your sketch pads.
The Living Installation, NYC Waterfront performance ~ Art Couple on the Pier will take place this Saturday, August 28th from 6-8pm. Purchase tickets Here, Can’t make it? The event will be live streamed via YouTube, with a link on the website right here. Follow on Instagram.
