The Josephine Herrick Project Presents ~ Continuous Focus: 2019 Spring Cocktail Party + Photography Auction to be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the New York Academy of Medicine.

For over 78 years, the Josephine Herrick Project has taught self-expression, inspired creativity, and engaged community through its free photography and visual storytelling programs. Photography is deeply transformative medium, and Josephine Herrick Project’s participants learn how to tell their stories. JHP reaches populations that are considered outside the mainstream, vulnerable or at-risk, including but not limited to Veterans with PTSD, at risk youth and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and those with cognitive, intellectual and other disabilities. Participants report profound changes in their confidence, sense of self, community engagement, and voice.

In addition to the auction, which includes the featured image of Brigitte Bardot, 1965, there is a limited registration for a live and exclusive portrait session with Francis Hills. This offer is limited to 15 guests, who will have the opportunity to have their portrait taken by internationally published celebrity photographer, Francis Hills (named this year as one of New York’s best portrait photographers).
All monies raised will go directly to build these programs in New York City and beyond.
Continuous Focus: 2019 Spring Cocktail Party & Photography Auction will be held on June 18th at the New York Academy of Medicine, in the Library Reading Room, 1216 Fifth at 103rd Street, NYC.
