Daylight Saving Time 2022 begins this weekend on Sunday, March 13 when clocks “spring forward” an hour, meaning we get one less hour of sleep overnight.
We are clock-watching this morning at 470 Park Avenue South at 32nd Street, underneath The Wizard of Park Avenue.
In a surprise move, the U.S. Senate passed legislation on March 15, 2022 that would make daylight saving time permanent starting in 2023, ending the twice-annual changing of the clocks.
The Senate approved the measure, called the Sunshine Protection Act, unanimously by voice vote. Now the House of Representatives must pass the bill and the President must sign.
What do you think? Are you in favor of The Sunshine Protection Act?
