Get Ready for the 22nd Annual Egg Rolls, Egg Creams & Empanadas Street Festival on June 18th

We are saving the date for the 22nd Annual Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Street Festival to be held on Sunday, June 18th from Noon to 4:00pm on Eldridge Street between Division and Canal Streets. The free event is a delicious celebration of all things Jewish, Chinese, and Puerto Rican.

Some of the features this year will include:

Frank London’s Klezmer Brass All Stars from Noon to 2:00pm

Jake Shulman-Ment and Raffi Boden on violin and cello from 2:00 to 4:00pm

Los Pleneros de la 21 from Noon to 2:00pm

Lulada Club from 2:00 to 4:00pm

Lion Dancers from New York Chinese Cultural Center from Noon to 2:00pm

Yiddish singing from The Mamales from 2:00 to 4:00pm

Slam Poetry with Nuyorican Poets Cafe from 2:00 to 4:00pm

Cantonese Opera with Yan Wu “Camile” Shuang from Noon to 2:00pm

Yan Wu “Camille” Shuang performing Cantonese Opera … and so much more!

They are pleased to be partnering with our Lower East Side neighbors including Loisaida, CPC Open Door Senior Center, Henry Street Settlement, and Kehila Kedosha Janina Synagogue and Museum.

The Museum at Eldridge Street will be closed to visitors during the festival.
