The popular fresh food program in East Harlem, GrowNYC Fresh Food Box, is expanding from one to two days a week!  In addition to Wednesdays from 3-7pm, there will be a second market on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm at The Plaza, 125th Street and Park Avenue, across from the entrance to the Metro-North.

New Harlem East Merchant Association (NHEMA) has a lot more going on at The Plaza, like the small business Pop-Up Snack Shop with a new summer schedule that keeps it open from Monday through Friday from 3-7pm – giving Plaza-goers a chance to sample a wide range of what  East Harlem merchants have to offer.

Zumba every Thursday at 4pm! and it’s Free.

STEAM The Streets will be part of Uptown Grand Central actives for this Summer. The open-air, science lab for kids will be at The Plaza on the last Friday of each month. Check out these great photos of “Science on the Street in East Harlem.”   Next date will be Friday, July 28th.
