Above, Vogue, The Arab Issue by acclaimed artist Hassan Hajjaj includes vibrant portraiture and video works set inside a world of bold colors, varied textures, and frenzied patterns.

Above, In ONYX, NYC-based photographer and art director Adrienne Raquel captures exotic dancers from the famed Club Onyx strip club in Houston, Texas. Raquel’s photography has appeared on magazine covers for titles including Vanity Fair, Elle,, and GQ ~ this is her first solo museum exhibition.

The Darkroom celebrates Tom of Finland‘s 100th anniversary with a deep-dive into the artist’s life and work process. The exhibition consists of photographic portraits that served as reference images for Tom of Finland’s famed homoerotic drawings.

Your Gaze Belongs to Me, the first solo museum exhibition by Chinese photographer Pixy Liao, includes more than 50 works from two series, Experimental Relationship, and the outgrowth series For Your Eyes Only. In these series, Liao explores the possibilities of portraiture in depicting modern, romantic, heterosexual partnerships.

- Virgin Mary. Supermarkets. Popcorn. Photographs 1999 to 2020 is the largest US retrospective of British artist and photographer Miles Aldridge. The exhibition is a best-of from Miles’ oeuvre – drawing from his series of cinematically inspired tableaus as well as an incredible array of portraiture, featuring popular celebrity figures such as Sophie Turner, Viola Davis, Michael Fassbender, and Donatella Versace.

Join Shanghai-born artist Pixy Liao in conversation with Associate Professor of Practice — Arts, Culture and Media Department at Rutgers University, Alexandra Chang for a conversation foregrounding Pixy’s work as it upends how Asian Americans, and particularly Asian American women, are perceived in popular culture. This is the first of four events presented with the Asian American Arts Alliance surrounding Pixy Liao’s exhibition Your Gaze Belongs To Me.

Adrienne Raquel will be joined by writer, editor and curator Antwaun Sargent to discuss Raquel’s alluring and provocative photographic exploration of the famed Onyx strip club in Houston, Texas.

Family Fun Series on Sunday, June 6th from 10am to Noon. Fotografiska Family Fun Days are led by Catalina Kulczar, a photographer, teacher and mother who loves to teach children about the many ways of connecting with the world. This season’s activities are inspired by Susan Meiselas, an award-winning Magnum photographer, and her new book Eyes Open: 23 Photography Projects for Curious Kids.

Midweek Mindfulness, weekly meditations every Wednesday from 6-6:45pm. Hit pause. Enter a deep state of relaxation with our weekly meditation and sound bath series, inspired by an exhibition currently on view. Led by Urban Yoga Foundation founder, Ghylian Bell.
