The National Audubon Society, Gitler & __, NYC Audubon, the Broadway Mall Association and artist Nicolas Holiber have been working on a special installation, scheduled for an unveiling in ¬†April of 2019, and will run along the Broadway Mall from 67th Street to 168th Street. We are invited to watch, as the artist ~ Nicolas Holiber, creates one of the ‘Birds’ for the much anticipated Audubon Mural Project.

The dozen sculptures of birds will be fashioned after birds that the National Audubon Society has found to be particularly threatened by climate change, and have been declared endangered.

The Gallery will be open for viewers to come by and watch, as Holiber works to complete one of the twelve pieces for this project, from October 10 until approximately October 30, 2018 (until the piece has been completed).  Gitler & __ is located at 3629 Broadway, at 150th Street, in Hamilton Heights.

Currently on view by Broadway Mall Association is the popular installation Kathy Ruttenberg on Broadway: in dreams awake, on the Mall through February 2019.
