The 7th Annual el Festival Del Libro/Festival of Books will take place during Hispanic Heritage Month on two dates in October. The Event will feature readings, workshops, and performances, celebrating the bilingual heritage of Latin writers of all genres. Admission is free to school children and adults.
The Event will take place on two dates, SCHOOL DAY: Wednesday October 9th AND Saturday October 12th. 10:30am to 5:30pm.
Event’s activities include meet & greet with writers, authors, publishers, and literary organization representatives, technical & creative workshops aimed at providing covering various essentials of becoming a successful & effective writer. Latin authors reading from their own classic & new works, and live performances. Book sale completes our cycle of enhancing local economic development, support to the arts, and tourism.
Schools wishing to arrange a field trip should use the “TICKET” button to the appropriate school grade to reserve their place. Writers, authors, publishers, and literary organizations wanting a place in an Open MIc, panel or workskhop should use the “TICKET” button to register.
