Careers in Comics & Graphic Novels ~ KaPow! at The Apollo ~ January 16th

Apollo Career Panels advance career and leadership skills through panel discussions focused on professions behind the scenes in the arts.

Visual storytelling has transformed the arts and entertainment industries by taking audiences from the page to the big screen and back again. Whether you’re a comics fan or graphic novel reader, the genre has seen writers like Ta-Nehisi Coates and Marjorie Liu pen for Black Panther and The X-Men, respectively. We’ll explore the mass appeal and duality of this industry in our panel through conversations with writers, illustrators, agents, and publishers.
