Cleaning up After Vandalized Artworks on Lenox Ave ~ Harlem

It was all hands on deck Sunday, March 1st on Lenox Avenue at 125th Street for a major cleanup effort, restoring the artwork, Tatyana Fazlalizadeh: Stop Telling Women to Smile installed by NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.

Spearheaded by Connie Lee, President of Marcus Garvey Park Alliance and Director of Public Art Initiative, what seemed to be an overwhelming job was completed in fifteen minutes.
