Please join us for our first Community Workshop as we begin designing the project to re-envision the pool and rink at the Harlem Meer to better serve the community and complete the transformation that began with the restoration of the Meer nearly 30 years ago.
We’re pleased to be engaged in expanded community based conversations about this exciting project, and we look forward to hearing from you about your experiences in the Park and the existing facility. Come share your insights and ideas, learn about some of the history of this site and the Meer that you may not know, and explore the site and its potential. Midday, we will visit the project site (an approximately 10-minute walk from the meeting space; please let us know if you require any special assistance).
This will be an important and, we believe, fun opportunity to participate in one of the most transformational projects in the history of Central Park. We hope to see you on Saturday October 13th!
