Fall in Marcus Garvey Park ~ East Harlem

You don’t have to leave Town (or your neighborhood) to enjoy the beauty of Fall Foliage. These images were taken on November 3, 2018 from Madison Avenue near 124th Street, with a view of the oval lawn and Acropolis in Marcus Garvey Park.

If you look hard, you’ll see the new art installation on the oval lawn entitled ‘I Don’t Know Why the Caged Bird Sings…Ah me” by José Carlos Casado.

Next year at this time, the Acropolis will once again be home to the historic Harlem Fire Watchtower.
