ImageNation Outdoors!

The 17th Annual ImageNation Outdoors Festival Announces New Movies.

Held in partnership with Historic Harlem Parks and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, ImageNation Outdoors is New York City’s only free summer-long outdoor film and music festival dedicated to Black cinema.

Festival dates are August 8 through September 20th. All programs are free and open to the public. Here is the 2019 Outdoor Lineup!

August 8th     BOSS: The Black Experience in Business in Marcus Garvey Park

August 13th    Poetic Justice in Marcus Garvey Park

August 17th    If Beale Street Could Talk in St. Nicholas Park during Harlem Week

August 22nd    Soul Train Tribute to Aretha Franklin with Amazing Grace in Marcus Garvey Park

August 23rd    Decade of Fire in St. Nicholas Park

August 24th    Kids Night Out, Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse in St. Nicholas Park during Harlem Week

August 30th    When They See Us at the State Office Building on 125th Street

September 6     When They See Us at the State Office Building on 125th Street

September 20th    Black Girl Magic, Grace Jones: Bami & Bloodlight in Marcus Garvey Park
