The Real Green Book ~ NYPL Event, February 11th at Grand Central Library

Did you know that the New York Public Library houses the largest collection of The Green Book?

Now, during Black History Month, the New York Public Library is hosting the event, “The Real Green Book: Using NYPL Collections to Bridge the Past’ on Tuesday, February 11th from 6-7:30pm at Grand Central Library, 135 East 46th Street, NYC. Be sure to RSVP – this is a Free event but seating is limited.

The conversation will explore the origins of the ‘Green Book’ travel guide and explore The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture’s work to digitize the historical survival guide.
