The Smithsonian Institution just announced that Kevin Young, currently the Director of The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, has accepted the position of Director of the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. (how cool is that).
While we will miss him, we wish him all the very best. He will start his new job in January, 2021.
