
The two-person exhibit, Reflection, featuring the works of Joness Jones and Brigitte Yoshiko Pruchnow, will open at Kate Oh Gallery this week.

Reflection will focus on the importance of light, weaving through the work of both artists, as they see it in the world around them.
The Woodstock, New York-based artist, Joness Jones explores infinite patterns found in nature and humankind in her work. She is known for murals and live performance paintings, produced at more than 100 global festivals and concerts.
German-Japanese painter, Brigitte Yoshiko Pruchnow has a unique educational background, holding a diploma from the Munich Film Academy and a master degree in Japanology, Philosophy and History of Art from the University of Munich, as well as studies in Japanese calligraphy in Japan, Chinese traditional ink painting and traditional Japanese painting technique (Nihonga).
Reflection will be on view from February 23 to March 22, 2018 at Kate Oh Gallery, 50 East 72nd Street #3A, with an Opening Reception on Friday, February 23 from 6-8pm ~ RSVP required.
