Riverside Park Conservancy announced a free, world-class musical lineup to help celebrate the organization’s 35th Anniversary on Thursday, June 10th from 6-9pm.
The Conservancy is celebrating with a park-wide art exhibition, called Re:Growth, which will last all summer, and with a party on June 8 at Pier I (70th Street) and Ellington’s (105th Street). As part of the celebration, the Conservancy has announced a musical program — curated by Alphonso Horne — that will be free to all park visitors and will include some of New York’s best talents.

“It’s going to be a truly inspired evening,” said Dan Garodnick, President of Riverside Park Conservancy. “What better way to say that New York is back, than to fill the park with music, art, and all of our amazing neighbors?”
“This evening will feature world class artists that will create a soundscape that is indicative of the various styles of music that someone may hear in the neighborhoods of Riverside Park,” said Alphonso Horne, Trumpeter and Composer. “Through salsa, jazz, blues, brass bands, and Broadway cabaret, we invite you to come out and enjoy the great music, art and spirit NYC has to offer!”
