Join Soho Photo Gallery for a Zoom Talk by Sheila Pree Bright, an Internationally award winning and acclaimed Fine Art photographer known for her photographic series #1960Now, Young Americans, Plastic Bodies, and Suburbia. Bright.

Bright is the author of #1960Now: Photographs of Civil Rights Activists and Black Lives Matter Protests. She has exhibited widely, including the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History, Washington, DC; Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, CA; Turner Contemporary, United Kingdom and the Leica Gallery in New York. Recently, she has been awarded the commission for Picturing the South by the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA. In this discussion, Bright will speak about her #1960Now series and discuss how she imagines the future in her new work in progress.
