The National Arts Club opened its Grand Gallery to the exhibition entitled Studio in the Street: Symbols ~ Totems ~ Cyphers, an overview of Street Art from the 1980s.

The exhibition shines a light on an early 1980s New York City art scene that, in time, moved from the streets to the galleries, and onto corporate branding and merchandising.
Above and below are just a few images in the exhibition from our visit.
Included in the exhibition are works by Keith Haring, Richard Hambleton, Scot Borofsky, Ken Hiratsuka, Angel Ortiz, Robin Van Arsdol, Bob Dombrowski, Kevin Wendall (FA-Q) and Palo Buggiani.

Studio in the Street: Symbols ~ Totems ~ Cyphers will be on view through June 14, 2019 at The National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South at 20th Street, NYC.
