The Much Anticipated Sugar Hill Creamery Opened on Lenox Avenue, Harlem

Are you ready for some ice cream?  Saturday, at 5 pm on July 29th (2017),  Sugar Hill Creamery opened its doors at 184 Lenox Avenue in Harlem, just a few doors down from another new business, the bakery, LA Sweets NY.

The owners, Nicolas Larsen and Petrushka Bazin Larsen call their shop “a love affair between community and food.”  And from the length of the line on Opening Day, we think the community agrees. Even at 7pm, the line extended to Settepani. Here’s a little something sweet about the owners and their Team, that included local food photographer, Evi Abeler.  Check out this video tour!

Sugar Hill Creamery is located on Lenox Avenue between 119th-120th Streets. Follow them on Facebook  and on Twitter.  Check out the ice cream sandwiches and other menu items in collaboration with their neighbor, LA Sweets NY.

Taking a look inside wasn’t easy on Opening Day.

It’s been a few years since that opening in 2017. Sugar Hill Creamery now has three locations ~ Lenox Ave in Harlem; Broadway near 150th Street; in the Time Out Market DUMBO on Water Street. Sugar Hill Creamery will be opening in East Harlem in the Spring of 2023 ~ Spreading sweetness.
