Summer Streets 2017 will take place August 5, 12, and 19 on Park Avenue from Central Park to the Brooklyn Bridge, 7am to 1pm.
One of the highlights of this years Summer Streets is the LG Quad Wash Water Park. Located at Park Avenue between 70th and 71st Streets, and open from 7am to 1 pm. This one-of-a-kind installation is a giant inflatable water park, measuring 30′ wide by 50′ long, featuring obstacle courses continuously soaked by powerful jet streams, massive slides in the shape of cutlery, and hanging glide rails. Yes – a giant dishwasher.
Discover the great outdoors in the Adventure Zone at 53rd Street and Park Avenue. Learn basic survival skills – pitch a tent, load a backpack + a plethora of workshops. Step into an Adaptive Obstacle Course & climb an eight-foot tall Bouldering Wall. Check out the 165 foot-long, 30′ high Zipline, and soar down 53rd Street (not on your way to work).
