Dust off your sneakers and get ready for the annual Jane’s Walk, which will be held on May 5-7. Organized by the Municipal Art Society of New York, it is the largest chapter of the festival anywhere in the world, with more than 165 in-person, virtual, and on-demand walks in all five boroughs.

Ushering in annual in-person events, May will open its doors to the ever popular Jane’s Walk, TEFAF will return to the Park Avenue Armory, NYCxDesign celebrates its 10th anniversary, Madison Avenue prepares for its Spring Gallery Walk, the Roof Garden Commission, Lauren Halsey, will unveil at The Met, FRIEZE New York returns to The Shed, along with #FRIEZEWEEK including Volta and The Photography Show. The Chelsea Market’s ARTECHOUSE explores the human brain, the Costume Institute at The Met unveils Part Two, and Salmagundi Club opens its doors to Light and Wonder: Photography Today + so much more. Who said you can’t hold a Tour during a Pandemic? The Municipal Art Society (MAS) supercharged Jane’s Walk New York 2021 with so many fabulous online tours, you won’t know where to go first! Best of all, online guests can attend 2, 3 or 4 tours a day, and go from the Bronx to Brooklyn at the click of a keyboard.
We can’t wait for the annual Jane’s Walk Tours. Many of this years Tours are theme-based on current events and interests, like rising sea levels and privately owned public spaces. Save the Dates ~ May 4-6 for The Municipal Art Society of New York Tours inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs.
