Affordable Art Fair returns to New York for its Fall 2023 edition featuring work by over 400 artists across 76 exhibitors. The fair takes place at the Metropolitan Pavilion from Wednesday, September 20to Sunday, September 24.

The Affordable Art Fair is a contemporary art fair dedicated to creating a dynamic and approachable entry-point to the contemporary art market for enthusiasts, collectors, and art-curious fairgoers alike. Affordable Art Fair offers artwork created by emerging and established talent in a range of media and genres priced up to $12,000.

The fall 2023 edition brings together a uniqueand exciting new roster of galleries, presenting a selection of 27 international gallerieswith a focus on showcasing Latin American and Asian art. Among the standouts are Jimena Carranza(Mexico City), online gallery Catalysta featuring Latin American artists, and Mookji Art Contemporary( Seoul), to name a few.

Affordable Art Fair nevertheless is anchored by its focus on local, New York City based exhibitors. The fair’s strong cohort of over30 New York galleriesshowcases the breadth of emerging talent found right in the heart of the fair’s home city. Returning New York exhibitors include Agora Gallery, Michele Mariaud, and Garcia Studio while the fair welcomes new exhibitors such as 1 Dutch Projects, Artling Gallery, and Minted.

The fair’s Fall 2023 edition programming highlights include:

● The Affordable Art Fair celebrates the growth of its Fellowship Program and welcomes Brooklyn-based gallery Eleventh Hour Art to join Established Gallery as fellows this fall. Further, the fair welcomes Artlogic as title partner, lending valuable support, financial resources, and business development opportunities to fellows and Affordable Art Fair exhibitors.

● The Private View opening on the evening of Wednesday September 20, offers visitors an exclusive first look at the fair with complimentary drinks by New Belgium.

● Donation for Admission, with free entry offered to visitors who donate new or gently-used art supplies that will be distributed to New York public schools by fair partner Materials for the Arts.

● A newly envisioned Art After Dark presented by Union Square Travel Agency on Friday welcomes CBD-infused social tonics from Cann, traditional seltzer beverages by the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, and an interactive exhibition presented by Arts Gowanus.

● On Saturday, the fair launches its new program: The Artist Is In. Artists exhibited at the fair are invited on-site to engage directly with fair visitors who seek to learn more about their work.

● Stroller Hours returns on Sunday from 10am to 2pm, offering arts and crafts programs led by fair partner The Babysitting Company, Lalo Play Kits, and healthy snacks provided by Grillo’s Pickles.

Affordable Art Fair has selected Brooklyn-based gallery Eleventh Hour Art to join Established Galleryas Fellows this fall. Further, the fairwelcomes Artlogicas title partner, lending valuable support, financial resources, and business development opportunities to Fellows and Affordable Art Fair exhibitors.

TheFellowship Programwas introduced in Spring 2023 to grant up-and-coming arts organizations an opportunity to showcase their artists’ work to a wideraudience of collectors and enthusiasts. The program is designed to amplify the reach and long-term commercial viability of Fellows by providing the resources and platform necessary for commerce, marketing, and community-building. Beginning in Fall of 2023, the Affordable Art Fair will partner with Artlogicas a primary supporter and underwriter of the Fellowship Program.Their partnership secures Fellows’ participation as exhibitors free of charge for three consecutive editions of Affordable Art Fair New York

The Artlogic Fellowship Program welcomes New York-based Eleventh Hour Artas its second Fellow. Eleventh Hour Art is an artist-run gallery in Brooklyn which spotlights emerging artists. The gallery fosters an identity-forward approach to art where artists are encouraged to celebrate their lived experiences, backgrounds, and history in their work. Eleventh Hour Art provides a nurturing environment with studio spaces for their nine resident artists. At the Affordable Art Fair’s fall 2023 edition, Eleventh Hour Art will present a two-artist presentation featuring artworks by Ginger Snow, a Brooklyn-based painter whose work is rooted in childhood and nostalgia and Yung-wu, a New York-based abstract painter whose work reflects on her lifelong  journey in reconciling her hyphenated cultural identity.

The Affordable Art Fair will be on view with a Private View on Wednesday, September 20th from 6-9pm; General Admission on Thursday, September 21st from Noon to 6pm, and free admission with donation of art supply from 6-8pm; Friday, September 22nd from Noon to 6pm, Art After Dark from 6-9pm; Saturday,, September 23rd from 10am to 8pm; and Sunday, September 24th – it’s Stroller Hours from 10am to 2pm, and General Admission from Noon to 5pm at Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, NYC.
