The Affordable Art Fair 2017 will open its doors for the 24th edition from September 13-17 at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street. More than 65 local, national and international galleries, and more than 400 artists, will participate in this fall fair showcase. Related programming will include artist and curator talks, panel discussions and kids activities.
“The concept is simple, yet unique: an inspiring and friendly atmosphere in which you can find thousands of original paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs all under one roof, ranging from $100 to $10,000, with more than half priced under $5,000.”
Viewers will be welcomed on Wednesday, September 13, with Private View from 6:00 to 9:00 pm; on Thursday, September 14, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Art After Dark from 6:00 – 9:00 pm; Friday, September 15 (Free Admission) from 11:00 to 6:00 pm, and from 6:00 – 8 pm; Saturday, September 16 from 11:00 to 8:00 pm and Sunday, September 17 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Admission tickets are $18 online or $20 at the door. Students/Seniors $10. Tickets for Private View are $70 online and $80 at the door. In addition to the website, you can follow Affordable Art Fair on Facebook.
