Presented by NYC Parks, the Olympic Regional Development Authority, I Love NY, and I Ski NY, Winter Jam is a free winter sports festival for New Yorkers of all ages! Our partners at Gore Mountain will blow a mini mountain of snow in the heart of Manhattan, creating an urban wonderland for all to enjoy!

Featured venues ~ Snow or shine ~  will include Lake Placid Snow Field; ‘I Ski NY’ Learn to Ski (limited); Live Ice Carving; and an Ice Sculpture Garden.

Other activities include Snowshoeing; Sledding; Curling; Ice Bowling; Dodgeball; Flag Football; Puppet Making; Heated New York Public Library Reading Room; Bobsled Photo Op; and Snowcat Photo Op. There will be food and drinks onsite for purchase.

WinterJam is free and open to all members of the public, but space in the ‘Learn to Ski’ activity is limited. If you would like to participate in ‘Learn to Ski’, please enter the drawing by Thursday, January 23rd at 11:59pm. If you are selected in the drawing, we will email you after the deadline to confirm your time slot.

WinterJam 2020 will be held on Saturday, February 1 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield ~ enter at 72nd Street, NYC
