Just in time for the Holidays, the Flatiron Prow Art Space has come alive. This time with ‘Drawing the Invisible’ by the artist Wendy Letven.
Best said by Cheryl McGinnis Gallery, this complex drawing in a three-dimensional space “traces the points and lines of the New York City subways, warps and ripples seen in diagrams of space-time and the branching pattern of nerves in the human eye, among other things, to give material form to these fragments of information and bits of visual language.”
“They form a unique, interwoven and flowing cacophony of line, color and light that mirrors the vital energies that converge at the bustling location of the Flatiron.”
Drawing the Invisible by Wendy Letven is on view at Flatiron Prow Art Space via the Cherly McGinnis Gallery.
Flatiron Prow Art Space is located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 23rd Street, at the base of the historic Flatiron Building, NYC.
