The City Reliquary and Ace Hotel New York are kicking-off an off-site exhibition that will be on display through the month of August. The exhibition will include prominent items from The City Reliquary’s permanent collection including “terra-cotta fragments of landmark skyscrapers, geological specimens from the 2nd Avenue Subway, an artifact from one of the last surviving coal-fired pizza ovens in NYC, and cultural ephemera spanning from Coney Island to the Bronx.”
The City Reliquary is a not-for-profit community museum and civic organization which began life as a window display in 2002. Today, they exhibit a permanent collection of New York City artifacts, and rotating exhibits, displaying New York in past and present. The Museum is located at 370 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Free and open to the public.
