The Pastel Society of America’s 46th Annual Exhibition ~ September 4th

The Pastel Society of America’s 46th Annual Exhibition entitled, Enduring Brilliance! will be held at The National Arts Club in Gramercy Park in September.

Enduring Brilliance! will be on view from September 4 to September 29 in the Grand and Trask Gallery.  An award ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 23, followed by a gala dinner (reservations required).

In 1906, The National Arts Club acquired the historic Samuel Tilden Mansion at 15 Gramercy Park South. In 1966, New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission declared 15 Gramercy Park South a New York City Landmark; and in 1976 the Federal government designated the building a National Historic Landmark.

Of note, on Friday, September 21, the Pastel Society of America will host a free gallery tour and reception open to the public, and on Saturday, September 22, a free, open to the public Materials Fair, featuring tables of quality pastel products.

While you’re there, step into the Marquis Gallery for Song of Myself: Self-Portraits, on view to September 28, and the exhibition, Zana Briski: The Earth Is My Witness in the Gregg Gallery.
