“Tyrone Mitchell: Dreams, Discourse & Speculation. A Selection of Works” at Atelier212 Gallery, Brooklyn for a limited engagement

Sculptor artist, Tyrone Mitchell is known for his storytelling though forms, creating narratives ~ spinning a tale ~ in colorful creations reminiscent of his time growing up in the South. In a limited engagement, the exhibition, Tyrone Mitchell: Dreams, Discourse & Speculation. A Selection of Works, will be on view at the Gallery,  Atelier212 in Brooklyn. The exhibition will include Ayesha William of  The Laundromat Project, in conversation with the artist and his long-time friend, renowned sculptor artist, Jorge Luis Rodriguez, in a “free wheeling and audience participation Walk & Talk through the garden and galleries.”

The Artist Talk & Walk in the Garden will be held on Sunday, September 17 from 2:30-4pm.

Music performance on Thursday, September 21 from 7-8pm (doors open at 6pm), with Tyrone Mitchell on drums, Dick Griffin on trombone, and Rafael Macaden on the flute.
