VOLTA will be returning to New York as part of Frieze Week 2022 from May 18 through May 22nd. The Fair will be located in the former Dia Building and Hauser & Wirth gallery space at 548 West 22nd Street, just one-block from the High Line and a ten-minute walking distance from FRIEZE New York’s location at The Shed.
VOLTA Art Fair will welcome over 50 national and international galleries, both new and returning to the New York edition.

The transition to its new location and the alignment with Frieze Week ushers a new chapter for VOLTA, to reintroduce the fair as a global art destination for considered curation and creative discovery. For its 2022 New York edition, VOLTA will host solo and group presentations from galleries in Beirut, Budapest, Calgary, Cologne, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Leipzig, London, Marbella, Nassau, New Orleans, New York, Santa Fe, Tokyo, and Vienna, among others.

“We are returning full speed with both of our fairs in New York and Basel this year.”, states VOLTA Director Kamiar Maleki. “Having our galleries join us on our journey has been critical to our success. With a steady number of returning and established exhibitors from the early VOLTA days to a new group of young and emerging galleries, VOLTA Art Fair continues to be a place where you can discover artists and talent.”
