The annual Whitney Staff Art Show will be returning to Westbeth Art Gallery for its fourth year, featuring established and emerging artists ~ all are talented Whitney museum staff members.
The exhibition, Westside Exposure, is an opportunity for Whitney staff to share their talent and their work. This year over ninety artists will be presenting a wide range of mediums and content. Participating artists are listed here.
The Whitney has a long and historic history in support of living artists, since its origins in Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney’s Greenwich Village studio in 1914, and on to the Meatpacking District in 2015.
Westside Exposure: Whitney Staff Art Show 2019 will be on view from July 12 to August 15, 2019 with an Opening Reception on July 17th from 6-8pm. Westbeth Gallery is located at 55 Bethune Street, open from Wednesday through Sunday from 1-6pm.
