What a Wonderful World Nests Tribeca Park

What a Wonderful World by artist Leonard Ursachi in Tribeca Park

Feel like nesting?  Tribeca Park has you covered. The new installation entitled What a Wonderful World by artist Leonard Ursachi gives park goers a sense of birth, history, nature, and yes – nests. The beautifully created eight-foot-high, egg shaped woven sculpture, sits on a circular pedestal with two stainless-steeled, mirrored cut-outs on either side.  A map of the world is painted on the face of the sculpture, in pigmented cement.

What a Wonderful World will be on view at Tribeca Park, in front of the American Thread building, to December 15, 2017, presented by NYC Parks, Art in the Parks.
