What’s the Point? The Needle Art of Kevin Lustik on View at Jadeite Galleries

If you happen to be in Hell’s Kitchen this week and next, here’s a stocking stuffer from me to you. Needlework artist Kevin Lustik current has a small exhibition of his work at Jadeite Galleries through January 3rd entitled What’s the Point? The Needle Art of Kevin Lustik.

His intricate, and very thoughtful work, incorporates beads, buttons, needles and a bit of humor, bringing a smile to the faces of viewers ~ last year at the exhibition space at the New York Port Authority with ‘In Stiches‘, the year before, ‘Sew On & Sew Forth’ with ChaShaMa and his exhibition Kevin Lustik. That Sew & Sew in Tompkins Square New York Public Library, among others.

Born and raised in Joilet, Illinois, Kevin Lustik has been sewing for more than thirty-years, first starting as a quilter, then moving on to original needlepoint and cross-stitch designs. You can follow the artist on Instagram and Facebook.

What’s the Point? The Needle Art of Kevin Lustik will be on view through January 3, 2023 at Jadeite Galleries, 660 Tenth Avenue (between 46/47th Streets). The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from Noon to 7:00pm.
